CANADA EMERGENCY RELIEF

Responding to disasters within Canada

When a disaster occurs in Canada where needs exceed those resources immediately available through the local church / community, NCM Canada will receive funds (specified for that disaster) into a general Canadian disaster response account and the national office will issue charitable receipts to donors.

Each gift will be used as designated in consultation with the district, except where any given need has been fully met or in the case when the specified project(s) cannot be reasonably carried out, then the designated gift may be used where it is needed most. For example, if funds are not requested by the district to support the local church response in the disaster area, then NCM Canada reserves the right to use the funds for another disaster or project within Canada or in partnership with approved Canadian partners responding to a disaster within Canada.
