FOOD AID PROJECT FOR 1,000 EARTHQUAKE AFFECTED FAMILIES IN NEPAL
1,000 families in a rural community outside Kathmandu, Nepal received food aid following the April earthquakes
1,000 families in four remote communities in Sindhupalchowk district of Nepal received rice, lentils, sugar, oil and salt distributed by Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Nepal following the earthquake. These communities were particularly hard hit by the earthquake and were difficult to reach with supplies. The food is sufficient for about a three month supply which will carry these families through to harvest of their own crops.
