A little training and a little money may be all it takes to help a family start a small business. A small business may mean that the family is self-sufficient and has enough money for daily needs including food, clothing, and shelter - the necessities of life. Some examples of small businesses are basket weaving, embroidery, cement block making, rice husking, livestock rearing, tailoring, bicycle or rickshaw rental or repair, silk worm cultivation and fish cultivation.
