Machaseh House (Holistic Child Development)

This "refuge home" offers safety to abused and vulnerable children who experience maltreatment and neglect. Machaseh House’s vision is to, “Develop strong, loving families by creating a safe, caring, learning Christian environment for children and youth, transforming minds and building character”.

This is a Nazarene church initiative at the district level, and it is being developed in coordination with the government/Children’s Authority of Trinidad & Tobago. A 9,700 square foot facility is being constructed to house 40-52 vulnerable children. Construction of the building is scheduled for the end of 2026. It is anticipated that the home will officially open and become operational in early 2027.
