NEPAL LANDSLIDE & FLOOD RESPONSE
Devastating Floods Strike Nepal
On August 26, catastrophic flash floods swept through communities in Nepal following a massive collapse of glacial ice, rock and debris in the Himalayas.

The powerful surge of water and mud caused widespread destruction, damaging homes, roads, bridges and critical infrastructure. Thousands of people have been affected or displaced, while some communities remain difficult to reach.
The Church Is Responding
Nazarene churches, leaders and families are among those affected by the disaster.
​
As needs continue to be assessed, local churches and partners are walking alongside affected communities, providing practical care and assistance to those facing loss and displacement.
​
Initial response efforts include food, essential supplies and shelter, with additional assistance expected as needs become clearer.
​
In the midst of grief and uncertainty, the Church continues to be present—sharing the compassion and hope of Christ.

Canadians can support the Nepal Landslide and Flood Response through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Canada.
Donations received through NCM Canada will support the response being coordinated through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, helping equip local churches and partners as they respond to affected communities.
